The design inspiration for this forest-flanked residence was the quintessential country barn.
The 4 bedroom plus study family home features two living pavilions with simple gable roofs joined by a connecting bridge. The ‘H’ design plan faces North East towards the pool.
All the bedrooms are housed within one pavilion while the kitchen, dining, study, laundry and garage are housed in the other.
The simple, cost effective design minimises the need for hallways and ensures there is minimal ‘wasted’ space.
Despite being surrounded by trees, the home is filled with light and makes the most of its private and serene location.
